Wendi is a committed, talented and funny actress and television host with a masters degree in talking and a black belt in shopping. She has combined her love of performing and making people laugh with her passion for shopping as a Television Home Shopping Hostess on Shop NBC channel where she is seen in 60 million homes nationwide. Regular viewers enjoy her fun, sophisticated and informative presentations.

Daily unscripted shows on Shop NBC and her prior training at the well-known Groundlings Improv in L.A. have helped her master the ability to speak "off the cuff" about everything from dishes to diamonds, and cosmetics to computers. A graduate of the University of Vermont's undergraduate business school, Wendi has an uncanny ability to navigate corporate lingo with ease. Her experience in pharmaceutical sales (the legal kind) has made her adept at decoding medical jargon for her listeners. Wendi's sales and hosting background have made her a master of simplifying technical copy for corporate narration, e-learning programs and website tour narration.

Professionally trained as an actress in New York City for five years, Wendi studied Meisner acting technique at William Esper Studios and Actors Movement with Llyod Williamson. Her acting training has helped free her voice to access her emotion and personality, allowing voice over copy and characters to come to life. Soon, Los Angeles was calling, where Wendi starred and co-starred in numerous TV shows, independent and feature films, music videos, industrials and commercials.

Raised in New Canaan, Connecticut, Wendi started her performance career with musical theatre at the local Y where her Grandma watched her in productions like "Annie" but never recognized her since she wore a wig. Wendi has always been a natural performer and comedienne and is described as fun, charming and a bit bubbly, but with a dash of hip and quirk. Her cosmopolitan New England upbringing brings a sophisticated, stylish vibe to her voice with a Meryl Streep intelligence and her NY/LA living helped shape her wit and spontaneous sense of humor.

Wendi has a fiery determination and a joie de vivre which leads her to take on new adventures. One such adventure led her to tour Italy by herself where she fell in love with her driver--now her husband of 5 years. Her most recent challenge was competing with women more than a decade younger, in her first beauty pageant--and won against all odds. Wendi feels she's at her best when she's giving to others, and spends her free time mentoring with Kinship for Kids, volunteering with local charities and speaking on behalf of Mentoring throughout Minnesota.

Wendi is proud to have worked with the renowned Los Angeles voice over coach, Nancy Wolfson to increase the depth of her voice-over skills and polish her performance. Recent jobs include: ADP E-learning modules; City of Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce, Comcast, Shop NBC, G-4 Golf Trainer, Chamber of Commerce- South Dakota, Best Cleaners and other local voice over work.

Wendi's home studio is equipped with MP3, WAV and CD capabilites and she can deliver MP3 files via email or DC overnight within a 24-hour time frame. Wendi is a member of both SAG and AFTRA.
