Voice Description

My name is Barbara Galarza. I receive many comments on my voice quality such as warm, soothing and relaxing, as I guide my yoga students to de-stress at the end of each class.

My voice is also professional and trustworthy, without being boring, perfect for narrations and presentations.

Education

BA in English and Associates Degrees in Science and Physical Theapy. I also am certified at the 200 hour level as a retistered yoga teacher (RYT 200).

I have attended voice over training and recorded a VO demo with "Such A Voice."VO Training and Demo Productions. I recently completed a five week workshop series with Wren Ross, actor and voice over coach called "Building a VO Career.

I use my voice daily as a Physical Therapist Assistant to teach and instruct patients in rehabilitation during their recovery. I need to project professionalism to promote turst in me and my abilities.
I also teach several yoga classes weekly and use my voice to not ony instruct students but to set the tone of my classes. I create the mood of our relaxation sessions using only my voice and have had frequent positive feed back.
